Green Leaf Owner/Inspector, Eric Swiatek
With over 16 years of experience as a federal inspector for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), I’ve developed a deep understanding of all aspects of homeownership. I’ve also worked as a project manager overseeing the construction of high-end luxury homes, giving me valuable insight into the building process from the ground up. Over the course of my career, I’ve performed more than 2,750 property inspections—each one reinforcing my commitment to thorough, high-quality service.
I founded Green Leaf Inspections out of a desire to take my background in housing and turn it into something more personal—something that would allow me to serve my community while building a legacy for my family.
Becoming a home inspector has given me the opportunity to help people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than giving my clients peace of mind as they navigate the home-buying process.
I was born and raised in the greater Cleveland area, and I’m proud to continue living and working here with my family. Cleveland is home—and that’s something I don’t take for granted.
As I continue to grow Green Leaf Inspections, my top priority is providing the best service possible. I am a fully licensed inspector and have passed the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE), earning national certification through the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors. I’m also a proud member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the industry’s leading trade organization, and I strictly follow their standards for ethics and training.
I’m committed to ongoing education and staying current with the latest tools and technology to ensure every inspection is thorough, accurate, and professional.
